Details
Vargus served as the Black Wake’s surgeon, spending his whole life aboard — crews on Val’s ships tend to be generational, and Vargus had never served on any other vessel (e00 01:33:43). A crewmate named One-Arm Pete, who lost both legs and his other arm, once saved Vargus’s life in a cannon exchange between ships; Vargus has never made good on his promise to restore Pete’s lost limbs (e00 01:18:46).
