The man Rue is hunting: she calls him a horrible human being who murdered her loved one, and says she has to murder him back (e01 00:54, e01 01:06). He hasn’t appeared on-air; in Wriem, Rue saw Gabriel Landaluce, who looks exactly like him (e03 01:36).
Details
Rue was lying in wait for a man in a blacksmith shop when she was pulled into a cavern below Wriem, and he disappeared (e01 00:32, e01 00:38). In the cavern she checked the faces of the humanoids she saw for Weston, saying she was going to stab him (e01 01:06), and she asked the Nightforge guild whether anyone knew him (e02 00:38). Vargus describes him as a convict and a murderer (e02 00:38, e02 00:38). Rue says she has spent about the last ten years waiting to catch him (e03 01:38).
Gabriel Landaluce looks exactly like Weston would with long golden hair, in the best shape of his life; Rue thinks Gabriel looks prettier than she remembers Weston (e03 01:36, e03 01:36, e03 01:38). Gabriel showed no recognition of her, and Mikhail Asimi couldn’t say whether Gabriel had ever renamed himself (e03 01:36, e03 01:39). Rue says the man she is hunting was a golden boy, and an asshole (e05 01:02, e05 01:02).
