The son of the God-Queen, according to Mikhail Asimi (e03 01:39): a golden-armored flier who killed the giant moon goblin in Wriem with one blow, and who looks exactly like Weston, the man Rue is hunting (e03 01:36, e03 01:36).
Details
He arrives like a golden meteorite, blazing with fire and gold, and lands softly in a full hero pose (e03 01:34, e03 01:34, e03 01:35). He wears gleaming gold armor and has beautiful long golden hair; he looks like he’s in the best shape of his life and has never seen a hard day’s work (e03 01:35, e03 01:36, e03 01:36). He gives the party a big, bright, charismatic smile and waves at them like children watching a sideshow (e03 01:35, e03 01:36). He fights with golden light: a fireball of it punched straight through the giant moon goblin’s head (e03 01:36, e03 01:36).
To Rue he looks exactly like Weston, if Weston had long golden hair; there was no recognition in his face when he looked at her (e03 01:36, e03 01:36). Asked whether he had ever renamed himself, Mikhail said he couldn’t tell (e03 01:39, e03 01:39).
A doomsayer in Wriem called him “the hand of the queen, scourge of the deep, the one who walks in the dark and kills thousands, a mountain in a world built for men”: a metamortal too strong for the world, whose weight has tipped the balance (e05 00:49, e05 00:49, e05 00:49). “The Hollow King is not the disease. Gabriel is the disease,” he said; Gabriel must climb the tower and take his weight to Elysium (e05 00:50, e05 00:50, e05 00:50, e05 00:50). The Queen’s Guard dragged him away (e05 00:51). Rue says Gabriel should be killed and put into the depths (e05 00:53).
