A city in the sky, visible from Edyrea, where the gods live.
Details
No one on Edyrea seriously doubts Elysium’s existence, since it can be seen in the sky (e00 00:22:00). It is home to the Transcendents, who conquered it from its original inhabitants — primordial, angel- and seraphim-like beings — after clearing the surface of Edyrea of monsters (e00 01:59:53).
Elysium contains the Plane of Order, a primordial domain of law and order, and is associated with the Shadowlands, its mirror dimension (see Essence and Souls) (e00 01:57:52).
A tower built by Rimthurghast and Rhea connects Edyrea to Elysium; in theory, any mortal could climb it and become a Transcendent, though the Transcendents quietly work to prevent this (e00 02:01:57).
