A pudgy halfling of the Nightforge guild who can turn invisible, and who tells the party he doesn’t trust them (e02 00:27). According to Mikhail Asimi, he set out to sell the party’s identities to the Queen’s Guard (e04 01:12, e04 01:12).
Details
Gilbert keeps reminding everyone that he has been down more fissures than the rest of them put together (e01 00:06). He says that Caspian has never been down a fissure before (e01 00:10), and tells Orrin to follow his lead and not to ask questions (e01 00:10). With a scroll in one hand and chanting, he dispels the shimmering teal barrier over the crack in the ground (e01 00:11, e01 00:12), then fades out of sight and leads the group down invisibly (e01 00:13).
He kills the largest of the moon goblins by appearing behind it and beheading it, then winks at Orrin and goes invisible again (e01 00:21). By the end of the fight, blood dripping from him made his invisibility much weaker; even at his best he could no longer disappear completely (e01 01:28, e01 01:42).
He carries daggers at his belt (e02 00:12). Orrin, reading him, judges that Gilbert would sell him out for a nice beer and break a deal the second it benefited him (e02 01:07, e02 01:07).

The Fissure Below Wriem (e01–e04)
Gilbert distrusted the party from the moment Wisp spoke, and struck a deal to part ways with them, threatening that they’d be hunted down if it came back on the guild (e02 00:11, e02 01:05). Mikhail Asimi sent him to close the last portal, and later told the party Gilbert was on his way to sell them out to the Queen’s Guard (e03 00:11, e04 01:12).
