A human sorcerer, isekai’d to Edyrea from Ternia, who resents his new powers.
Details
Orrin is meek, small, and unimposing — five foot nine, about 135 pounds soaking wet; the GM’s note is that on first look, most people would think they could beat him up (e00 01:07:05).
In his past life on Ternia, Orrin was a risk actuary, and thrived on monotony and order — his socks and underwear were labeled by day of the week, he ate the same meals and visited the same cafe on a fixed routine (e00 01:08:25). He was also an avid consumer of light novels, manga, and anime, and often thought the protagonists of those stories were idiots for choosing to be heroes (e00 01:24:57).
In Edyrea, Orrin has unexpectedly gained sorcerer powers he never wanted. He’s furious about it, complains constantly, and is actively looking for a way to get rid of his powers and return to his old life — which he calls looking for “a cure” (e00 01:08:25). He would burn down the world to protect a chance at that cure if he found one and it were threatened (e00 01:10:33). He misses small, specific comforts from home, including a particular pen (a Pilot G2) he can’t get here (e00 01:10:33).
